Posture Perfect: Stand Taller, Feel Better, Look Better
Good posture prevents pack pain, improves breathing and helps in countless ways. It can also make you look younger and leaner. So imagine what bad posture will do.
Davie Health's Dr. Nguyen offers these simple exercises to get you standing up straight and feeling better.
Head and neck exercises: Hold hold each pose for 10 - 12 seconds.
Upper back exercises: 2 sets a day for 15 reps
- Standing Cross Crawl: Stand chest up with their core tight and raise thier opposite arm and leg for 15 reps twice a day.
- Standing T- Rotations: Stand chest up, core tight, and arms to the side while rotating arms backwards for 15 reps twice a day.
- Standing Up, Back, Pull Down: Patient stand chest up, core tight which shrugging shoulders up, next bringing shoulders back, and last pulling shoulders down for 15 reps twice a day.
